The theft occurred around 2:17 AM at the residence of Bharat Solanki, located in Rajendra Colony, Dhoala Bhata (specifically, the lane behind the Old St. Joseph School). Footage reveals a young boy approaching the house stealthily, taking advantage of the deserted street in the dead of night.

In a matter of minutes, the individual managed to unfasten the water meter from outside Solanki's home before quickly fleeing the scene. The precision and speed of the act suggest a degree of familiarity with such operations.

Residents Demand Increased Night Patrolling

The theft came to light the following morning when Solanki's family discovered the missing meter and observed water gushing out. The incident has left local residents shaken and frustrated.

Many in the area report a significant increase in the presence of anti-social elements during nighttime hours. They believe these petty thefts, often targeting items that can be sold for a few quick rupees, are linked to drug use or minor addictions.
