Jodhpur Rail Services Hit: Waterlogging Disrupts Key Trains, Several Partially Cancelled or Diverted

Jodhpur Divisional Railway Manager Anurag Tripathi confirmed the situation, stating that water levels at Bridge No. 203, located between Gholvad and Umargam Road stations, have reached a critical mark. This necessitated immediate action to alter train operations along the affected route.

Partial Cancellations Affecting Key Routes

Several popular services have been partially cancelled, impacting travel plans for many. The 14707 Hanumangarh-Dadar Ranakpur Express, which departed from Hanumangarh on July 22nd, operated only up to Navsari. Consequently, this train is partially cancelled between Navsari and Dadar.

In its return journey, the 14708 Dadar-Hanumangarh Ranakpur Express will commence its service from Navsari on July 23rd, rather than Dadar. This means the service stands partially cancelled between Dadar and Navsari.

Similarly, the 12479 Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus Suryanagari Superfast Express, which left Jodhpur on July 22nd, was terminated at Nadiad. The service remains partially cancelled between Nadiad and Bandra Terminus.

For passengers planning to take the 12480 Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur Suryanagari Superfast Express on July 23rd, it will now depart from Nadiad instead of Bandra Terminus. This leg of the journey between Bandra Terminus and Nadiad is also partially cancelled.

Routes Diverted for Other Services

Beyond cancellations, two significant train services have been rerouted to navigate the waterlogged section.

• The 20693 Jodhpur-Bengaluru Express, scheduled to depart from Jodhpur on July 23rd, will now run via a diverted route through Surat, Udhna, Paldhi, and Jalgaon.
• The 22475 Hisar-Coimbatore Express, which commenced its journey from Hisar on July 22nd, is currently operating via Surat, Jalgaon, Igatpuri, Panvel, and Roha.

Railway authorities urge all passengers to check the latest status of their trains before commencing their journey to avoid inconvenience.
