On average, an alarming eighteen drug samples are found to be substandard every single month. This consistent failure rate points to significant negligence in the quality control process for medicines supplied under the scheme.

Pain relievers, including Tapentadol for severe pain, and allergy medication Levocetirizine, also featured on the list of failed products. Even Formaldehyde Solution, a common disinfectant, was found to be substandard after quality assessment.
