Ajmer: Ramganj Police Arrest Suspect with Illegal Pistol, Live Cartridges; Gang Links Probed

The arrest followed a crucial tip-off from Cyber Cell officer Vijay Singh Rawat. Acting on this intelligence, a police team launched a targeted raid near Jonesganj, where they successfully cornered and detained the suspect, identified as Sagar Valmiki.

During a thorough search, officers recovered the illicit firearm and ammunition from Valmiki. Police officials indicated that the accused was observed loitering in the vicinity, seemingly casing the area with an intent to commit a crime. He is said to be a resident of the Gandhinagar police station jurisdiction.

Further investigations have revealed a possible connection between Sagar Valmiki and the notorious Kuldeep Thakur gang. Ramganj police have registered a case against him under the Arms Act, and a detailed inquiry is now underway.
