Pushkar Gears Up for Major Development: RUIDP Phase 5 Kicks Off with Public Dialogue

Cabinet Minister Suresh Singh Rawat attended as the chief guest, with Sub-Divisional Officer Guru Prasad Tanwar presiding over the session. The dialogue brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including public representatives, former councilors, intellectuals, officials from various government departments, and media representatives.

Key Projects and Public Input Prioritized

Minister Suresh Rawat confirmed that RUIDP Phase 5 has received government approval. He emphasized the importance of gathering suggestions and feedback from all sections of the city before the Detailed Project Report (DPR) is drafted, ensuring inclusive development.

A significant focus for this phase is tackling Pushkar's persistent wastewater problem, for which the largest allocation of funds has been sanctioned. The Minister also shared positive news regarding the Pushkar Valley road, stating that the budget has been released and work is set to commence soon. Additionally, he informed attendees that the much-anticipated Brahma Corridor project will also see an early start.

Officials associated with RUIDP provided an overview of the proposed works for the fifth phase. They actively sought inputs and suggestions from those present, aiming to integrate these valuable ideas into the final DPR. Sub-Divisional Officer Guru Prasad Tanwar concluded the program by extending gratitude to all participants for their timely presence and contributions, which ensured the event's success.
