Ajmer Police Busts Fake Apple Product Racket, Two Detained

The raids uncovered a substantial cache of counterfeit Apple products. At one location, officers seized 45 boxes of Apple mobile phones, 114 USB charging cables, and numerous Apple stickers. The second raid yielded 24 fake Apple power adapters, 78 USB/C2C charging cables, 147 Apple mobile boxes, and 532 sealed stickers.

First Raid Uncovers Sticker Fraud

According to Clock Tower Police Station House Officer Bhikharam, the initial raid stemmed from a complaint filed by an Apple representative. Police targeted a godown located in Agrawal Dharamshala, situated on Arman Mobile street.

The allegation was that company stickers were being fraudulently applied to Apple boxes, deceiving consumers. During the search, police confiscated 45 Apple mobile boxes, 114 USB charging cables, and a quantity of Apple stickers. Nitesh Keshwani has been detained in connection with this operation.

Second Operation Targets Fake Accessories

A parallel operation unfolded in the Kotwali police station area at Bhavesh Mobile Shop in Sundar Vilas. This raid led to the seizure of 24 counterfeit Apple power adapters, 78 USB/C2C charging cables, 147 Apple mobile boxes, and 532 sealed stickers.

Pawan Mangtani, identified as the proprietor of the shop, was brought to the police station for further interrogation. Authorities confirmed that investigations into both incidents were actively continuing late into the night.
