A high-level meeting, chaired by City District Congress Committee President Dr. Rajkumar Jaipal at the city district Congress office, laid out the party's strategy for the civic polls. A key decision was to launch the 'Congress Aapke Dwar' (Congress at Your Doorstep) mega-campaign, aimed at rescuing the city from the BJP's alleged prolonged misgovernance.
Spiritual Start for a Political Campaign
The ambitious electoral campaign is set to begin with a formal puja at the Shri Ganesh Ji Temple (Aggarwal Wale Ganesh Ji Mandir). Following this, party leaders and workers will visit the Balaji Temple and Maa Mahalakshmi Temple to seek blessings before moving forward with their public outreach efforts.
This extensive campaign aims to reach every street, every home, and connect with every individual across all wards of Ajmer. Congress workers and office-bearers will go door-to-door, engaging in direct dialogue with the public and bringing critical local issues to the forefront, from street-level concerns to broader public forums.
Congress Alleges 36 Years of 'Misrule' and 'Arrogance'
Dr. Rajkumar Jaipal, President of the City District Congress Committee, minced no words, stating that the BJP board has been entrenched in the Ajmer Municipal Corporation for the past 36 years. He alleged that the party's leaders and officials are now consumed by the 'blind arrogance of power'.
Jaipal further claimed that the BJP's 36-year tenure has left Ajmer in a state of disarray, pushing the entire city into a 'pit' and completely ruining it. The Congress plans to expose the BJP's alleged shortcomings and demand answers from the public.
Demands for Accountability and Development
The Congress party intends to press the BJP on several critical questions. They will ask why the public has not received an account for crores of rupees over the last 36 years. Furthermore, the party will seek an explanation for the destruction of numerous construction projects worth crores of rupees and the subsequent waste of government funds, questioning why no action has been taken against the responsible corrupt officials and leaders.
The Congress will forcefully raise these public concerns against the BJP's alleged dictatorial and corrupt approach. The party is making a strong appeal to the 'enlightened and suffering' public of Ajmer to give Congress an opportunity just once in 36 years. Their promise is to accelerate the city's stalled development and restore Ajmer to its former glory.
Significant enthusiasm was observed among Congress members regarding this 'historic campaign' set to commence with the Ganesh Puja. The meeting saw the presence of numerous Congress office-bearers and workers and many others.
The meeting was conducted by Fakhre Moin, Vice President of the City District Congress Committee, who urged all Congress members to attend the Ganesh Puja in large numbers for the launch of this mega-campaign. Stay tuned to MTTV India News for the latest developments on the Ajmer civic elections.
