Sohail Khan reveals childhood sexual abuse:Salman Khan's brother says he stayed silent for years out of shame

Actor Sohail Khan, Salman Khan's younger brother, has revealed that he was sexually abused during his childhood, but kept the experience to himself for several years. He opened up about it during the reality show Alliance. Sohail's team recently secured the top spot on the leaderboard. During a conversation with fellow contestants Arslan Goni, Ruhi Dosani and Ali Goni, he spoke about his childhood trauma while discussing the impact of ragging and abuse. Kept the trauma to himself for years Recalling the incident, Sohail said, "When I was a child, someone sexually abused me, and I carried that pain in silence for years." He revealed that he only spoke about it after growing up, when he finally told his father. According to Sohail, his father asked why he had stayed silent for so long. Sohail admitted that, as a child, he felt too ashamed to speak about what had happened, even though he now knows it was never his fault. Sohail gets emotional while talking about his family In the same episode, Sohail became emotional while speaking about his family and said he misses them deeply. During a conversation with host Kunal Khemmu, he shared that although he had hosted and judged several reality shows in the past, participating as a contestant made him understand the emotional and mental challenges contestants go through. He added that being part of Alliance taught him a life lesson that he had not learned in his 55 years before joining the show. Seema Sajdeh joins the show as a wildcard Sohail's ex-wife Seema Sajdeh has also entered Alliance as a wildcard contestant. Since her arrival, viewers have seen the former couple share a warm and respectful bond. Welcoming Seema on the show, Sohail said they had spent 25 years together and added that if there were mistakes in their relationship, he takes responsibility for his part.
