Bollywood's senior actor Naseeruddin Shah has become emotional after witnessing the assault and brutality against children amidst the protests. He strongly condemned the government and supported the students. The actor says that if those running the country are ignorant, then they would want the entire country to remain ignorant. Naseeruddin Shah has posted a video from his official social media account, in which he said- Greetings. I, Naseeruddin Shah, want to submit two things to all of you. Firstly, if an ignorant person leads this country, then his heart will desire that the entire country becomes ignorant, foolish, unsuccessful, and ruthless like him. Despite completing two different acting courses at the National School of Drama and the Pune Film Institute, what I have learned most about acting is from those children, those students whom I have tried to teach. Further, Naseeruddin Shah said, "My complete sympathy is with them. I give them thousands of blessings with every breath and salute them on every Teacher's Day. At this moment, my heart is also full, and I am boiling with anger seeing how our children are being treated with cruelty by those goons, who remind me of America's ICE agents, with their faces masked and sticks in their hands."
