Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has weighed in on the Ketan Agarwal murder case, using the incident to raise concerns about modern relationship culture and the lifestyle of today's youth. In a post shared on Instagram, she said that passion without purpose can lead to self-destructive consequences. The case involves Siya Goyal, who is accused of pushing her fiancé, Ketan Agarwal, off a hill, leading to his death. During the investigation, police reportedly found that Siya had secretly married her alleged boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary, even after getting engaged to Ketan. Both accused are currently in police custody. Kangana Questions Modern Dating Culture Reacting to news reports about the case, Kangana shared a note on her Instagram Stories, expressing concern over the increasing influence of social media and dating culture on young people. She mentioned platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram and dating apps, along with trends like ghosting and benching, saying that despite these distractions, many young people continue to feel directionless. She urged youngsters to channel their passion into building a career, developing new skills or pursuing meaningful goals, adding that passion without a clear purpose can sometimes have tragic consequences. Advice for a simple life to avoid depression Kangana further wrote in her post that she appeals to the youth to channel their energy in the right and positive direction. She advised keeping an open mind but living a very simple and traditional life. By doing so, people can avoid problems like going to jail, loneliness, negativity, and depression. What is the Siya Goyal and Ketan Agrawal case? Pune businessman Ketan Agrawal died on June 18 after falling from the Lohagad Fort hill. According to police investigation, the murder of 26-year-old real estate businessman Ketan Agrawal was conspired by his fiance Siya Goyal along with her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary. Ketan and Siya got engaged in February this year and were planning to get married in November this year. Police have arrested both Siya and Chetan, and both are currently in judicial custody. Conspiracy to murder hatched after being asked for documents According to information received from police sources, Ketan's family had asked Siya for some government documents for the destination wedding to be held in Udaipur. After this, the accused, fearing being caught, hastily hatched a murder conspiracy. Police are also interrogating the two college friends who signed the marriage documents as witnesses. Additionally, Chetan's bank account is being investigated to find out if he had paid anyone for the secret marriage.
