Actress Madhoo Shah recently shared an anecdote related to the shooting of the film 'Yeshwant'. She revealed that during the shooting of a scene in the film, actor Nana Patekar actually slapped her, and in response, she also slapped Nana for real. In an interview with Hindi Rush, Madhoo shared that during a scene in 'Yeshwant', she had to cry. She wanted to use glycerin for the scene, but Nana Patekar was not in favor of it. According to her, Nana wanted the actor to feel the emotion and act naturally. Nana Patekar actually slapped her in the scene Madhoo said, "He (Nana Patekar) actually slapped me during the scene. Real tears came out of my eyes. I got very angry because he never did that in rehearsal. Nothing like that happened during rehearsal. During the take, he completely surprised me. He had actually slapped me. I was a very angry girl at that time, and perhaps I still am today. So I got very angry and I also actually slapped him back." According to Madhoo, this was an important scene in the film, and director Anil Mattu had allotted a full day for its shooting, but due to some sudden changes, the scene was completed much faster than expected. She said that the scene felt very natural and was completed in just half a day. Learned many things about method acting from Nana Madhoo also said that despite this incident, Nana Patekar never disrespected her. According to her, Nana was strict only about acting and wanted actors to fully feel and portray their characters. She said that while working with Nana, she learned many things about method acting.
