The team stated that they had no knowledge of an insect bite incident on set. This statement came after reports claimed that an insect bite was the reason for Rajesh's deteriorating health. Recently, Rajesh Sharma made headlines due to his deteriorating health. According to reports, he was first admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad, after which he was taken to Kolkata for treatment. Some reports claimed that his health deteriorated due to an insect bite on the set of the film 'Fauji'. Actress Sudipta Chatterjee had also mentioned an insect bite in one of her statements. 'Fauji' film team clarifies on reports According to Gulte, a portal associated with South Indian films, the 'Fauji' team stated that they were unaware of any such incident on set. The team says that Rajesh Sharma had completed his shoot and returned home about a week before these reports surfaced. During that time, the production team did not receive any formal information about a medical emergency. The team also said that after the reports came out, they tried to contact Rajesh Sharma's family, but received no response. According to the report, Rajesh Sharma's personal assistant, Shubhashish Panda, released a video stating that the actor was admitted to the hospital due to diabetes-related complications. He also said that Rajesh might be discharged from the hospital soon. This claim is different from reports of an insect bite. He wrote on social media, 'I was very concerned to hear about the health of my dear friend Rajesh. He was bitten by an insect during the shoot. Notably, Rajesh Sharma started his career with theatre and made his Bollywood debut in 1996 with the film 'Maachis'.
