Delhi HC denies relief to Salman in 'Kala Hiran' case:Hearing deferred to July 6; producer says film will release in 8,000 theatres

Hearing Salman Khan's petition, the Delhi High Court has currently refused to impose an interim stay on the release of the film 'Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy'. The court has adjourned the next hearing of this case until July 6. Following this decision, the film's producer Amit Jani has reacted on social media. He said that no star or glamour matters to the court. Meanwhile, Salman Khan has alleged in the petition that this film illegally violates his personality rights. Producer Amit Jani took a dig on social media Immediately after the hearing was adjourned, film producer Amit Jani shared his thoughts on the social media platform X. Amit Jani wrote, "Salman Khan has not received any relief from the Delhi High Court even today. There is no ban on the film and the hearing of the case has been adjourned till July 6." He further wrote that for the court, there is no star, nor do they believe in any glamour. Calling oneself the godfather of Bollywood will not stop the blackbuck. This film will be released simultaneously in 8000 cinemas worldwide. Film will not go to Censor Board until next hearing During the hearing on Wednesday, the producer's lawyer informed Justice Jyoti Singh's court that the film 'Kala Hiran' (Blackbuck) has not yet been sent to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for certification. When asked by the court, the lawyer clarified that the film is not yet ready for release. He assured the court that no film can be released without a censor board certificate and that they would not send the film to the censor board before the next hearing. As the producer's response was not on record, the court proceeded with the matter. Why Salman Khan Knocked on the Court's Door Salman Khan has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court demanding a stay on the release of this film. He alleges that the film makers are wrongly using his identity and name. According to the petition, the film's promotional material and promo show a person (lookalike) resembling Salman's look. This person is wearing Salman Khan's signature blue bracelet, which has been his special identity for a long time. Blackbuck Case and Lawrence Dispute Connection The actor has also stated in his petition that the film is misrepresenting events related to the 1998 Blackbuck Poaching Case. Along with this, it has also been claimed that the alleged dispute between gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and him is being wrongly depicted in the film. Salman says that this is an attempt to tarnish his image. Now, the entire matter will be heard again on July 6.
