Amidst the controversy surrounding comedian Pranit More's show, an old video of stand-up comedian Madhur Virli is going viral, in which he tells a joke. Because of this, he has been embroiled in criticism. Many people, including Urfi Javed, criticised him for his joke. In comedian Madhur Virli's viral video, he says, 'If you've seen the news, you know that out of 10 rape cases, 9 are cases where rape occurs. There's one case where murder happens after rape. You've heard of such cases, haven't you?' The comedian further said, 'I think that one case happens when, immediately after the rape, the boy gets up and the girl says, "Hey, won't you hug me, won't you cuddle after this?" Then the boy must stab her, saying, "Cuddle with the knife." ' Urfi Javed expressed objection Reacting to this matter, Urfi Javed wrote on her Instagram story, 'Are we now making jokes about incidents like rape too? My request to male comedians is to include some women in your team, so that you can gain a little understanding and sensitivity.' Account deactivated after controversy Amidst growing criticism over the viral clip, Madhur Virli deleted or deactivated his Instagram account. It is worth noting that Madhur is a stand-up comedian, writer, and YouTuber from Delhi. Madhur studied engineering at IIT Delhi. He has 7 lakh 54 thousand subscribers on YouTube. Pranit More also embroiled in controversy It is noteworthy that for the past few days, comedian Pranit More has been embroiled in controversy over 2 videos from his show. As criticism grew, Pranit More issued a video statement and apologised. He admitted that some comments made during the show were inappropriate. Meanwhile, Himanshu Jangra, who came into controversy after a comment about ₹370 biryani in Pranit's show, issued his first statement on Saturday. He apologised for his comment. Meanwhile, in another video from Pranit's show, an MBBS student named Sejal Pawar had said that she and her colleagues used to make fun of the private parts of donated male bodies in college. As the controversy escalated, Sejal also apologised.
