Massive Rally in Ajmer Demands Cow Protection, National Status for Gau Mata

The procession commenced from Bajrangarh Chowk and culminated at the District Collectorate. Here, a memorandum was handed over to the District Collector, addressed to the President, Prime Minister, Governor, and Chief Minister, outlining the campaign's key demands.

Over 5 Lakh Signatures Collected in Ajmer District

Organizers revealed that a month-long signature campaign preceded the rally, covering 12 tehsils and numerous villages across the Ajmer district. This extensive drive successfully collected over 5 lakh signatures from the region. These collected signatures are slated to be forwarded to the government as part of the broader nationwide campaign.

According to the campaign's organizers, the 'Gau Samman Aahwan Abhiyan' is a widespread initiative. It is currently active in 790 districts and approximately 5,000 tehsils throughout the country. The core objective is to raise public awareness about cow protection and to press the government on various demands, including a full prohibition on cow slaughter.

Diverse Participation in the Rally

The rally saw a diverse turnout, with saints, seers, representatives from various social organizations, women, students, and a large number of cow devotees joining the cause. Participants vociferously chanted slogans in support of cow protection, urging the government to make swift and positive decisions on their demands.
