Dausa witnessed a significant political visit this Wednesday as former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot arrived in the district. Pilot's first stop was Meena Simla village, where he paid his respects to the late former Sarpanch, Sampatram Meena, at his residence. Pilot highlighted the detention of Rahul Gandhi and other opposition MPs from both houses of Parliament just a day prior. He explained that these leaders were participating in a peaceful protest near the Prime Minister's residence at Lok Kalyan Marg. The demonstration aimed to raise critical issues concerning the education system and demand the resignation of the Union Education Minister. Pilot emphasized that these leaders were not anti-social elements or terrorists but were exercising their democratic right to voice concerns.

The Congress leader also spoke about the recurring paper leaks and irregularities in recruitment exams, stating these incidents have eroded youth confidence in the system. He criticized the government for attempting to suppress the voices of young people instead of addressing their problems.
