Major Breakthrough in RPSC Exam Fraud Case
Ajmer Police have made a significant arrest in connection with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Senior Physical Education Teacher Recruitment Exam-2022. The prime accused, who had been absconding for a considerable period and carried a reward of Rs 5,000 for his capture, is now in custody.
This breakthrough comes after a joint operation by the Civil Lines Police Station and a special team, acting under the direct guidance of Superintendent of Police Harshvardhan Agrawala.
Identity and Allegations Against the Accused
The arrested individual has been identified as 33-year-old Gopilala Bishnoi, a resident of Kooka village in Jalore district. He was wanted in a case registered under various sections, including the stringent Rajasthan Public Examination Act-2022.
Police investigations reveal that Bishnoi allegedly arranged for a dummy candidate to appear in his place for the Senior Physical Education Teacher Recruitment Exam-2022. Remarkably, he even secured selection through this fraudulent method.
How the Scam Unraveled
The elaborate scheme began to unravel during the crucial document verification stage. Authorities noticed glaring discrepancies between Bishnoi's photograph and other submitted documents, leading to the exposure of the entire impersonation plot.
Following this discovery, a case was immediately registered, and a manhunt was launched to apprehend the accused.
