Pushkar Activists Demand Transparency on Brahm Lok Corridor Plans

Pushkar witnessed a strong demand for transparency today as the Corridor Struggle leader, Madhusudan Max Parashar, along with a significant group of residents, submitted a memorandum to Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and Municipal Administrator, Mr. Guru Prasad Tanwar. The memorandum, addressed to the Chief Minister, calls for the immediate public release of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and the layout plan for the proposed Brahm Lok Corridor.

Parashar voiced serious concerns, stating that the people of Pushkar have been kept in the dark regarding the Brahm Lok Corridor project. He highlighted that despite the DPR being reportedly ready, its layout plan has not yet been made public.

Allegations of Deception and Withholding Information

According to Parashar, there's a pattern of misleading the public, with statements and even DPRs allegedly being altered. He questioned why the complete draft of the corridor project remains undisclosed, wondering what information is being deliberately withheld from the public eye.

The leader emphasized their ongoing struggle, which has spanned over two and a half years. Their primary objective, he stated, is to protect the town from potential demolition and disruption caused by the project.

Call for Pre-Election Disclosure

The memorandum specifically demands that the layout plan be made public before the upcoming elections. This, they believe, will clarify the entire situation for the residents, ensuring they are fully aware of the project's implications.

Among those present during the submission were senior community members and youth, including Vinod Parashar, Pramod Parashar (Dadabhai), Hemant Gurjar, Mahesh Nayak, Arbaz Khan Leelsawari, Dinesh Gurjar, Samar Teji, Kishan Gharu, Govind Gharu, Shubham Gharu, Rahul Kumar, Arun Kumar, Raj Valmiki, Bobby, Pankaj, and Ramesh. Several NSUI workers and young Gen Z members also joined the group, showing broad community support for the cause.
