High Drama Unfolds at Ajmer Police Station as Transgender Groups Clash

AJMER: A dramatic scene unfolded at the Ganj Police Station in Ajmer on Sunday afternoon when two rival transgender factions, the Muskan and Manisha groups, erupted into a violent altercation right in front of police personnel. The dispute quickly escalated into punches and kicks, with members from both sides reportedly tearing each other's clothes.

Police officers present at the station had to intervene swiftly to separate the brawling groups and bring the situation under control. Following the chaos, both factions lodged formal complaints against each other, prompting the police to launch an investigation into the matter.

Underlying Dispute: 'Badhai' Collections and Group Expulsion

The incident, which occurred around 1 PM, is believed to be rooted in an ongoing conflict over the collection of 'badhai' (traditional blessings and monetary gifts). Station House Officer Narendra Singh confirmed that one group had filed a complaint alleging assault after members of the opposing group forcibly entered their home. CCTV footage of the alleged home invasion has also been submitted as evidence.
