Ajmer, July 28 – Monsoon activity has brought significant rainfall across Ajmer district, with the region recording an average of 2859 mm of precipitation so far. This figure marks a notable 17.37 percent increase compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the Water Resources Department.

The district has experienced widespread showers, with several areas receiving heavy downpours. Ajmer city itself registered 324 mm of rain, while Budha Pushkar saw 240 mm.

Dams See Healthy Inflow, Boosting Water Reserves

The consistent rainfall has significantly improved the water levels in Ajmer district's dams and reservoirs. Since June 15, the Water Resources Department reports a healthy inflow into key water bodies.

Foy Sagar, a vital reservoir, has seen its water level rise to an impressive 20 feet 10 inches. Anasagar, another major lake, now stands at 11 feet 8 inches.
