Three Arrested in Ajmer for Brutal Home Invasion

Ajmer witnessed a swift police response after a violent home invasion and assault in Nausar village, falling under the Hari Bhaoo Upadhyay Nagar police station area. Authorities have confirmed the arrest of three individuals in connection with the life-threatening attack, which appears to be rooted in an old rivalry.

Old Feud Escalates to Deadly Attack

The incident came to light following a complaint lodged by Iqbal Khan Cheeta, a resident of Nausar, on July 11, 2026. According to his report, the accused stormed into his brother Irfan's home, launching a severe assault using iron rods and knives. The brutal attack left the victim seriously injured and created a tense atmosphere across the locality.

Investigations revealed that the violence was a culmination of a heated argument just a day prior. The dispute reportedly began when the accused leveled accusations against Rajesh's wife, alleging the theft of a gas cylinder. This minor altercation quickly spiraled, reigniting old grudges and leading to the violent confrontation.

Accused Produced in Court

Police have identified and apprehended the three individuals involved in the assault. They are Rajesh Cheeta, son of Ratan Cheeta from Mohmi; Raghuveer, also son of Ratan Cheeta from Mohmi; and Saddam, son of Saleem from Nausar. All three have been formally arrested.

Cases have been registered against the accused under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Following their arrests, the police produced the trio before the court, initiating further legal proceedings in this serious matter.
