Ajmer Lights Up for 1501st Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Ajmer was abuzz with devotion and joy on Wednesday as the city marked the 1501st Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi. A massive turnout of devotees participated in the celebrations, filling the streets with a vibrant atmosphere.

The day saw a grand procession, beginning promptly at 9 AM from Dhai Din Ka Jhopra. It wound its way through key city areas including Kamani Gate, Dargah Bazaar, Dhan Mandi, Delhi Gate, and Ganj, before concluding at Chilla Qutub Sahib.

Discipline and Unity at the Forefront

Organisers took special measures to ensure the event remained peaceful and disciplined. There were strict prohibitions against the use of DJ pickups and fireworks throughout the procession route.

A strong emphasis was placed on cleanliness, with dustbins strategically placed at various distribution points for langar, sherbet, and tabarruk. This proactive approach helped maintain order amidst the large gathering.

Youth Deliver Powerful Messages of Brotherhood

A notable aspect of the procession was the active participation of young people. Dressed in traditional Islamic attire, they carried banners and messages promoting love, brotherhood, and humanity, resonating with the true spirit of the occasion.

At the culmination point, Chilla Qutub Sahib, special Salato-Salam prayers were offered. City Qazi Tausif Ahmed Siddiqui led a special dua, praying for peace, prosperity, and mutual harmony across the nation.
