On Thursday, Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh targeted BJP MP Kangana Ranaut without naming her during his speech in Parliament. Singh said, “They have an MP who abused farmers during the farmers’ protest. She also made extremely objectionable remarks about the youth during their protest. Sir, I cannot repeat those words inside this House.” He further alleged, “The character of our daughters was questioned.” Singh then appealed to BJP national president JP Nadda, saying, “I request JP Nadda ji to counsel your MP.” He went on to remark, “She has only received one slap so far. There were just five finger marks. If you continue speaking like this, the youth of this country will grab your government and throw it into the gutter.” What did Kangana say? Recently Kangana wrote in an Instagram story, "The most shocking thing is the behaviour of young Hindu women. They want to imitate the lives of independent and career-oriented women, but they don't want to earn that freedom. Truly independent women make rebellious decisions, express bold opinions, choose careers outside traditions, and take responsibility for all their decisions themselves, because they live life on their own terms. They don't do all this at the expense of their parents or family. This is the new generation of so-called Western-minded Indian women, whom I call 'Generation Gutter'." Meanwhile, regarding Kangana's 'Generation Gutter' statement, Sonu Sood said that if Kangana has said such a thing, it is very shameful. During a conversation with the media, Sonu Sood said that he has not heard Kangana's full statement, but such statements should be avoided.
