Kangana Ranaut, who has been making controversial remarks amid the ongoing debate over student protests, has now taken an indirect dig at an actress without naming her. Comparing the actress’s appearance and manner of speaking to that of a “pickpocket”, Kangana also took jabs at her choice of clothes, language and husband. Kangana recently reshared a social media post that read, “I won’t name her, but a fat jihadi was jumping around making videos on the NEET protest. But during the Jharkhand protest, her mouth is shut.” Kangana liked the post and wrote alongside it that several “fake news stories” were also being circulated about her. She called the post completely false and added that she did not want to embarrass anyone, but claimed that she had noticed an actress who now “dresses and talks like a pickpocket.” She criticised the actress for wearing shorts and a backward cap and for allegedly supporting what she described as the “gutter-level behaviour” of protesters. Kangana further wrote that she believes a person’s choice of clothes can influence their thoughts and personality. Addressing the actress, she said that if her male partner was making her “feel like a pickpocket”, she was sorry to hear it. Kangana also claimed that the actress used to dress more neatly and speak more gracefully in the past. She added that while the actress was entitled to her own opinions, she should pay more attention to her personal style, offering to help if needed. After sharing the post, Kangana also released a video in which she claimed that some actresses remain neutral on issues concerning religion and politics but, after entering relationships with Islamists and marrying them, allegedly become “leftist extremists.” Kangana said there was nothing wrong with changing one’s political or religious views, as the Constitution gives people that freedom. However, she questioned why she is mocked for identifying as a “Sanghi” after once describing herself as a moderate Hindu. She also asked why others should object to her changing her views. Kangana concluded by saying that she was modern and liberal years ago but is now becoming a more staunch Hindu, questioning why anyone should have a problem with that. Did Kangana write the post for Sonakshi? Notably, Sonakshi Sinha is among those selected actresses who openly supported the protest and expressed her frank opinion. Sonakshi received immense praise for speaking about the protest. She made several videos on the protest, in most of which she was wearing shorts and a cap. Kangana Ranaut is in controversy due to her statements BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut is continuously giving controversial statements on student protests. Some time ago, she called Gen-Z girls 'gutter generation' and also said that women of this generation call having sexual relations with multiple men 'freedom'. They cannot even become housewives. She also said that young girls are being sexualized quickly. Kangana's controversial statement was heavily criticised. Eminent personalities like singer Vishal Dadlani and Sonu Sood protested against it. Meanwhile, Kangana's old movie scenes and bold photos went viral. Along with these, it was said that Kangana herself had once garnered headlines for her personal life, affairs, and attire, but is now condemning the same things in the new generation. To this, Kangana wrote, "You want to use clips of characters from my films, for which I am paid crores of rupees. You want to use pictures and videos from my high-profile shows and business events, where I am surrounded by my team, event planners, and security personnel. Further, he wrote, "Do you want to use all of this to convince a young and easily impressionable girl that she too can behave similarly on the street, at school events, or in cheap clubs? Are both things the same? Don't mislead the youth. This is not the same thing. Today you are misleading other people's children; tomorrow it could be your own children's turn."
